Who is this service for?
This service is for patients who Breastfeeding and who have one or more of these symptoms:
- acute breast pain for 7 days or less
- pain in the nipple(s)
- an injury to the nipple(s)
What are the contraindications?
- Stopping breast-feeding for 1 month or more
- Presence of a mass (hump) in the breast, localized with little or no pain in the mass
- Antibiotic treatment in progress for a breast infection.
- Pain or general condition causing difficulty eating or hydrating
Some checkups, such as checking your blood sugar or TSH, may be recommended after you give birth.
