In Instagram messaging, we receive a poor quality photograph with what seems to be a pregnancy test. We are being asked for medical advice on the subject. Although the process seems simple, for our professionals who are eager to offer clear and precise answers, it is rather a headache.

First of all, is it really a pregnancy test or is it more like an ovulation test? Was it done according to the rules of the art, in the required time or could it be an evaporation line? Is the test valid or expired? Does this test belong to a woman who is undergoing fertility treatment and who has high hormone levels that could falsify the result? What will this confirmation be used for, is an employer submitting an employee's test? Is this poor quality photograph a line or a shadow? At what point in the cycle is it carried out? Is it a false negative? Pregnancy symptoms or PMS symptoms? Is it a woman who is bleeding and a possible pregnancy has ended?

It is a professional opinion that seems very easy to give, but requires great rigor on our part. Imagine saying, “Congratulations you're pregnant!” and that wasn't or was no longer the case!? That's why our team will never confirm a pregnancy via our social media messaging or our corporate email.
